28-year-old Matthew Alexander is wanted by Rockford Police for allegedly beating a child under the age of 13.
The Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office has authorized charges of two counts of Aggravated Battery to a Child against Alexander, who is said to have battered a relative in a series of incidents in the 2300 block of Mulberry Street.
Detectives from the Rockford Police Department’s Sensitive Crimes Unit have been investigating reports of abuse for past several weeks, and issued a warrant for Alexander on Friday, December 14th.
