Rockford Police arrest third and final suspect in 2018 Citgo murder case

Rockford Police arrest the third and final suspect wanted in connection to a November 2018 murder at the Citgo gas station.

Devontai Dotson, 28, was extradited back to Rockford on Friday, March 29 after he was taken in custody in Georgia.

On Sunday, November 11, before 1:00 a.m., officers responded to a shooting in the parking lot of the Citgo gas station on 4315 Auburn Street. 37-year-old Jennifer Jones was shot and killed. A 25-year-old male was shot and sent the hospital.

All three suspects, Marquell Longs, Antonio Sago II and Devontai Dotson, are being held at the Winnebago County Jail and are on $10 million bonds.
