Rockford Police investigate two armed robberies.
The first one happened just before 8:30pm near Lincoln Middle School. Investigators tell us a single suspect approached a victim walking on the street and pulled out a gun. He got away with some jewelry.
Less than 10 minutes later, two suspects held up the Family Dollar the Rockton Avenue Shopping Center. Two men entered the store armed with guns and demanded cash.
No one was hurt in either robbery.
