Rockford Police Release Update on Victims in Clock Tower Shooting

The Rockford Police Department has provided an update on the conditions of the victims in the Clock Tower shooting which left one man dead.

23-year-old Marcello Brown was killed while attending a party at the hotel early Saturday morning.  The conditions of the five others who were shot are as follows according to police.

  • 18-year-old female who suffered a gunshot wound to the leg has been treated and released
  • 18-year-old female who suffered a gunshot wound to the head has been transferred to a rehabilitation facility
  • 20-year-old male who was shot in the leg has been treated and released
  • 19-year-old male remains hospitalized in stable condition.
  • 21-year-old male remains hospitalized in stable condition.

Police are not releasing their names due to what they call the ‘sensitive nature’ of the investigation.  Police have also not released a description of the shooting suspect, who remains at large.
