Rockford Police Searching for 15-year-old Murder Suspect

A 15-year-old Rockford teen who has been charged with First Degree Murder is being sought by Rockford Police.

An arrest warrant for Coley Carwell has been issued for the shooting death of 14-year-old Jamario Crawford, with a bond amount of $3 million.

Crawford was shot and killed on November 11th at around 7pm in the area of North Rockton Ave. and Bruce Street near the Roosevelt Community Education Center.  17-year-old Lontrell Brantley was also shot in the shoulder and is recovering from the serious gunshot wound.
