Two women are pulled over in Ogle County for speeding, leading to both being arrested.

Tuesday evening, Illinois State Police pulled over a vehicle on I-39 northbound. They learned the driver, Shankdrika Harper, 27, of Elgin, was wanted out of Winnebago County for a failure to appear warrant.

Harper, and her passenger, Dominique Herron, 31, of Rockford, both lied about their identities to police, leading to both being charged with obstructing identification.

Harper faces an additional charge for driving while license suspended. Herron was also charged for allowing an unauthorized person to drive.

Herron was released on bond. Harper was lodged at the Ogle County Jail.
