23-year-old Taylor Martin was arrested Wednesday night after she allegedly stabbed a man, with whom she had a domestic relationship, in the back.

Rockford Police say they were called to the 1300 block of South 6th Street around 9:45 p.m., where they found a 33-year-old man suffering from a non-life threatening stab wound to his back.

Officers learned that the man was inside the house with another woman when Martin entered. A physical confrontation ensued, and Martin allegedly stabbed him in the back.

Martin stayed on the scene and was taken into custody without incident.

Police say she was in a domestic relationship with the victim.

She was charged with Aggravated Battery with a Knife, Aggravated Domestic Battery, and Domestic Battery.

Martin was taken to the Winnebago County Jail.
