Frank Lloyd Wright’s Laurent House in Rockford will be among 13 sites on a newly announced trail in Illinois.
The Illinois State Board of Tourism announced on Monday that the new tourism trail will showcase Wright’s handiwork from the Forest City down to Springfield.
Wright designed the Laurent House in 1949 for Kenneth Laurent, a disabled World War II veteran. It’s on Spring Brook Road right off of Spring Creek.
A small chapel in Belvidere Cemetery is also part of the newly-announced Wright trail.
