A Stateline third grader, who’s battling epilepsy, gets a surprise ride to school.
Frankie has been battling epilepsy since he was a baby. In a few days, he’ll have brain surgery, in hopes of treating the condition. To celebrate his last day of third grade at Prairie Hill School, the Harlem-Roscoe Fire Protection District decided to do something special. The department gave Frankie a lift to school in its fire truck. Frankie got to ride in the front seat… and called the experience, “Awesome.”
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the family with expenses.
