Roscoe Police will have patrols for Distracted Drivers Week

Starting Monday, April 21st, the Roscoe Police Department will have extra patrols for Distracted Drivers Week.

Distracted drivers are a hazard on the road, not just to themselves, but their fellow drivers, as well.

Roscoe police will be extra vigilant this upcoming week, trying to catch drivers texting or talking on the phone and sharing the hashtag “NoTextNoTalk.”

The fines for getting caught using a phone while behind the wheel start at $75 for first time offenders and can go up to $150.
