Salvation Army handing out ‘Koats for Kids’ beginning Thursday

The Rockford Salvation Army is getting ready to give out the winter gear they’ve collected this year, for those in need.

Hundreds of coats have been donated to the organization as part of their annual ‘Koats for Kids’ drive, which was able to drum up donations for families who are unable to afford new coats, hats and gloves.

The items will be available to anyone who needs them starting this Thursday, October 25th, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Salvation Army Temple on South Rockford Avenue.
