Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center held its annual Hollyberry Holiday Bazaar on Friday.
The senior-living facility, located at 3470 N Alpine Road, has been hosting the event for several years. This year, around 30 vendors set up shop, with everything from quilts to jewelry.
The event acts as an alternative for residents of the home to do some holiday shopping.
Chris Hintzsche, Fairhaven’s Director of Marketing and Resident Services, said, “It’s a great opportunity for our residents to shop and see all of the goods and services available. [It’s a] good opportunity for them to shop for gifts for their families and friends, as well as opening up to the public.”
Those who attended the event were able to enjoy Christmas cookies in the hopes of getting them in the holiday spirit.
