Green Bay-based retailer Shopko, which operates stores in Belvidere, Beloit and Freeport, appears to be headed for bankruptcy.
A pharmaceutical company filed a complaint against Shopko to stop selling its products in their stores because Shopko owes them more than $67 million, WBAY reports.
McKesson Corporation says they haven’t received payment for the products since November and asked a judge this week to block the sales of their drugs at Shopko pharmacies.
In court, an attorney for McKesson said Shopko could file for bankruptcy as soon as January 15th.
