South Beloit Police Raid Home, One Arrested on Drug/Weapon Charges

One man is in police custody after South Beloit officers raided a home.

Officers served 19-year old Jalen Olander a warrant at his home on Marvin Street, two blocks east of Blackhawk Road. Police found 3,000 grams of marijuana, $3,000 cash and a loaded handgun with the serial number filed off.

Olander has a list of charges that include:

  • Armed Violence
  • Violation of the Cannabis Control Act
  • Possession more that 2,000 grams but not more that 5,000 grams
  • Defacing a Firearm
  • No Firearm Owners Identification
  • Winnebago County Failure to Appear Warrant
