Stateline Cares: Family Displaced by Hurricane Irma Receives Help from American Red Cross

News

A family from Ft. Myers, Florida visited the Eyewitness News studio Tuesday morning to accept a check from the American Red Cross intended to offset costs associated with the lasting effects of Hurricane Irma.

All day Thursday, Eyewitness News and the American Red Cross of Northwestern Illinois are accepting donations to our ‘Stateline Cares Hurricane Relief Telethon’ to benefit victims of Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Harvey.

Your donation will be matched by an anonymous donor.  Call 815-964-4637 or go to https://www.redcross.org/donate/cm/statelinecares-pub to have your donation be eligible for the match.

All proceeds go to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.  Volunteers are standing by from 5am until 7pm Tuesday, September 12th, 2017, to take your pledge.
