Christmas came a little early for several Stateline area families in the form of furniture.
For the fourth consecutive year, Choice Furniture delivered more than $25,000 worth of furniture for families in need as part of its Furniture for Families in Need program.
“We wish we could help everyone,” said Assistant General Manager Jaime Chanthrangsy.
More than 1,000 people entered for a chance to be among a select few. Items like dining room tables, mattresses, and bunk beds were passed out.
“We’re making a difference in each family’s lives,” said Chanthrangsy. “[It’s] just a small, small way to be able to give them something before the holiday season.”
Many Choice Furniture employees go along on the deliveries. They told Eyewitness News it’s great to see the reaction on the faces of those receiving the furniture.
