Well American Idol is returning, and we had the Stateline Idol winners join us on the morning show to show off their talent!
Last night was our Stateline Idol Competition, where many aspiring singers came out for a moment to shine and a chance to audition in front of the judges in Chicago.
Cortney Miller, from Sycamore, is a full-time singer/songwriter and a fan of both country and blues, is our silver ticket winner. Miller will get to go straight to the front to audition for American Idol.
Emilio Salinas is a Rock Valley College student from Rockford and says his parents are his greatest inspiration. Salinas performs regularly at the local Pot Belly.
And Courtney Gors resides in Loves Park and is a single mom who works as a pest control technician. She enjoys country and rock music. Gors’ musical inspirations are Reba McEntire and her father.
We wish all of them the best of luck as they go on to the next phase!
