Summerfield Zoo has announced the arrival of several new babies to their menagerie, including groundhog, porcupine, goats, reindeer and Patagonian cavies.

“Spring is always an exciting time here at Summerfield Zoo. The weather is getting warmer, the days are getting longer, and babies start to arrive. There are a number of new babies to meet this season: A groundhog, a North American porcupine, goats, reindeer. It’s great to see the zoo so full of new life, and of course, the babies are incredibly cute!“ says Rick Anderson, one of the owners of Summerfield Zoo.

The zoo is open Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $10 per adult, $8 per senior, and $5 per child. All of the proceeds go toward care of the animals, many of which are rescue animals.
