Superhero Sprint: 5K raises money for families impacted by autism

Bust out that superhero costume collecting dust in your closet, and use it for running attire!

The Superhero Sprint 5K/ Walk will be held on Saturday, April14th. It’ll take place at 9 a.m. in Belvidere Park, 1006 West Lincoln Avenue.

The race benefits the Superhero Center for Autism. It’s a non-profit organization offering support, education and resources for individuals with autism and other special needs. The organization hopes to soon open a building in the Rockford area to house their different activities, including a sensory gym.
