Survey: 69 percent of Americans would rather skip gift exchange at Christmas


According to a recent survey, 7 out of 10 Americans are in favor of giving up gift giving at holiday gatherings.

The survey, published by SunTrust, says 69 percent of people said they would skip exchanging gifts with their friends and family if they agreed to it.

A majority said they would spend more time with friends and family if they didn’t have to worry about gifts.
