We now know the names of two men police arrested this week following a high-speed chase.
They’ve been identified as Ty Collins, 20, and Josiah Dickens, 20. Officers arrested them Tuesday afternoon. They were wanted in connection to a recent shooting in Rockford.
But, when officers tried to pull them over, police say they took off instead.
The chase ended at Charles and 23rd St. when they crashed into a Winn. Co. Sheriff’s Deputy’s squad car. The suspects and the officer were taken to the hospital, but they’re all ok.
Investigators also seized two guns and drugs.
Collins is now charged with weapons violations and obstruction of justice. Dickens faces drug charges and aggravated fleeing to elude police. Both men are being held in the Winn. Co. Jail.
