Beloit Police announced the arrest of 53-year-old Scott Abbott on charges of sexual assault involving inappropriate touching by a teacher.
Abbott, a teacher at Beloit Memorial High School, who lives in Rockford, was arrested Tuesday afternoon for sexual assault of a child by a school staff person.
The Rock County District Attorney’s Office is reviewing the arrest.
