Teen Shooting Suspect Arrested After He’s Hit by Gunfire

A wanted teen wound up in police custody after showing up to the emergency room with a gunshot wound.

Police arrested the 18-year-old man after he was released from SwedishAmerican hospital, Friday. He, along 18-year-old Jacquel Williams, and a 16-year-old girl are accused in a shooting and robbery back in June at Cathedral Baptist Church in Rockford.

All three are charged with attempted murder among others.

The 18 year old, whose name is not being released at this time, is lodged at the Winnebago County Jail.
