The Rockford Town Fair attracts kids of all ages

Summer time means summer fun as hundreds of people visited the Rockford Speedway for the Rockford Town Fair.

The little ones got to feed animals in the petting zoo, ride the ferris wheel, or got strapped in to loop around the air in the Magic Carpet ride.

“It means everything, the expression on their face,” said Dever Young, who was attending the Rockford Town Fair. “They have a blast here. They love the area, going on all the rides. They get us excited and makes us feel like we’re kids again.”

The Rockford Town Fair is open from 11 a.m to 9 p.m. on Sunday.

There’s also the Cherry Valley Carnival this weekend, which opens from 2 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
