Police search for three suspects who robbed a Rockford liquor store overnight.
Deputies responding to the robbery around 9 o’clock Wednesday night at H&S Liquor on Broadway. A clerk there said three black men entered the store, pointed a gun at him, then stole a handgun from the business as well as cash and cigarettes. They demanded the victim lay on the ground before taking off.
The clerk was not serious hurt.
The men are described as follows:
- Black male, wearing dark clothing, a white mask and gloves
- Black male, wearing a letterman jacket with white sleeves, a white shirt and white tennis shoes
- Black male, wearing dark clothing
