Flinn, Whitehead and Rolling Green schools all went on lockdown Friday morning for police activity in the area.

Rockford officers were searching the area for stolen car suspects. Both suspects were eventually taken into custody and all schools lifted their lockdowns.

Unrelated to Friday morning’s incident, Rolling Green Elementary students and staff are practicing this morning what to do in case of a lockdown. It is a regularly scheduled drill.
