Twitter Suspends Thousands of Pro-Terrorist Accounts

Twitter says it suspended 360,000 accounts in the past year due to users promoting terrorism.

It made the announcement in a blog post Thursday.  This comes after critics said the social media platform isn’t doing enough to keep extremist groups like ISIS from using it to recruit people.

Last week, a federal judge dismissed a lawsuit against Twitter that accused the company of supporting ISIS since it allowed them to sign up for accounts.
