Two 12-year-olds arrested for school shooting threat

Two juveniles are facing charges after allegedly threatening to shoot up a Rockford school.

Rockford Police responded to Jackson Charter School on 315 Summit Street on Thursday, May 16 around 10:00 a.m. in reference to a school shooting  threat. 

Officers located and arrested the two juveniles involved in the threat.

Two 12-year-old juveniles are charged with Disorderly Conduct. They both are lodged in the Juvenile Detention Center. 

No weapons were found.
