Police arrest two men they say opened fire in a Rockford neighborhood overnight.
This happened around 2am Friday on N. Winnebago near Auburn and Rockton Avenue. No one was hurt.
Officers spotted Christopher Carter, 30, and Joey Sanchez, 27, sitting together in a car. They say they had a .40 caliber handgun inside and found spent shell casings on the ground next to them.
Both men are now charged with reckless discharge of a firearm.
