The Beloit Police Department have charged two suspects with Attempted Homicide for a shooting during an attempted robbery on April 1st.
Keonte Howard, 24, and Keshawn Falls, 17, were both charged for the incident, which took place at 919 10th Street. The victim in the attempted robbery, Gordon Juerjens, remains in critical condition.
Both Howard and Falls have been in police custody since April 8th, after they were captured, along with 2 other suspects, in a burglary call to the 1100 block of Dewey Avenue. A gun was fired during that incident, but no one was hurt.
Police were able to use ballistic evidence in the Dewey Avenue shooting to connect the two crimes.
Both Howard and Falls are from Chicago. Howard has ties to Beloit.
