Two McDonald’s locations in Rochelle will roll out digital menu boards and self-order kiosks and tablets to allow patrons to order meals without interacting with a behind-the-counter employee.
The Seventh Street and Ranger Road locations have been updated to a more modern, streamlined appearance that has already been rolled out at 2,600 McDonald’s restaurants nationwide.
Employees will still bring food to customer’s tables.
“We’re excited to share this evolved experience at McDonald’s with our customers,” said Rosa Yunes, Rochelle McDOnald’s Owner/Operator. “We appreciate and value our guests’ feedback on this new experience, and we’re looking forward to offering them a new way to dine at McDonald’s.”
The Rochelle Chamber of Commerce and the City of Rochelle will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony at both locations Wednesday at 4 p.m.
