Two Rockford men face burglary charges for stealing bucket of tools

Two Rockford men face charges after a weekend burglary.

Rockford Police responded to a burglary report to a vacant home on the 1300 block of 4th Avenue on Sunday, March 24th around 2:30 p.m.

Two men were on the property of the house. One of the men entered the house and left with a bucket of tools. Both men were last seen heading southbound on 8th Street.

Officers found two men, that fit the description of the burglary suspects and were carrying a bucket of tools, walking on 9th Street near 7th Avenue.

27-year-old David Iqbal and 51-year-old Dwayne Sundell were taken into custody.
