Two suspects have been arrested for a shootout that occurred between a Chevrolet Suburban and a group of people standing on Greenbrier Road.

DeKalb Police say that on Sunday, July 15th, James C. Lewis, 18, of Aurora, was standing out of the sunroof of a white Chevrolet Suburban driven by Leilani Hollingsworth, 21, of Aurora, firing several shots at a group of people standing in front of 930 Greenbrier Road.

Witnesses said one of the intended victims pulled out a gun and returned fire.

Through video surveillance, police identified the Suburban and its occupants, and with assistance from the Aurora Police Department, were able to arrest the driver and the male shooting suspect.

Lewis and Hollingsworth were charged with Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm and were incarcerated at the DeKalb County Jail.
