Rockford Police are investigating the robbery of a Subway restaurant, 290 North Mulford Road, Tuesday night.
Investigators say two suspects walked into the store around 8:30 p.m. as employees were preparing to close for the night.
A male suspect demanded money from the register and safe. Both suspects then fled on foot.
