U.S. Jobs Report Soars Above Expectations

April Jobs Report Keeps Unemployment Rate at 7.5%_8390453809574072161

The newest jobs report shows the U.S. economy picked up 215,000 jobs in March.

Those jobs beat analysts’ expectation, which was 199,000.  But, wages only grew 2.3% compared to this time last year.  Wage growth started to pick up last fall, but lost momentum in February and March.

The unemployment rate rose from 4.9% last month.
