Unemployment numbers for the Rockford area are in, and the results are mixed.
The current rate is 5-point-8 percent.
That’s down half a point from this time last year.
But, the area actually lost 2-hundred jobs.
Rockford and Danville are the only two metro areas in the state to lose jobs.
