The Winnebago County Coroner released Tuesday an official cause for a man’s death outside a Rockford bar.
The coroner confirmed Michael Wilson died from blunt force trauma to his head. This happened just as he left the Kishwaukee Tap a little after 1:30am Sunday. Investigators say he fell out of his brother’s truck and hit his head on the pavement.
The incident remains under investigation.
