UPDATE (10:39pm) – Rockford Police officers, along with the Dept. of Children and Family Services, located the missing infant. In a statement, the city stated the infant is “unharmed” and is now in DCFS custody. The case remains under investigation.
The woman, who police say was one of the last people to see Kyrian Knox, alive is behind bars for the disappearance of her own child.
Danyelle Foggs is being held at the Winnebago County Jail. She’s charged with Obstruction of Justice and giving false information to police. The criminal complaint alleges she gave false addresses for locations of her baby during an investigation into the baby’s disappearance.
Foggs and Kamel Harris were caring for two year-old Kyrian Knox last August, shortly before his dismembered remains were discovered in a Chicago lagoon.
