UPDATE: Student Hurt in Auburn St. Crash

UPDATE (5pm):  A student is cut out of a car after a serious accident in front of Auburn High School.

It happened at around 3pm Tuesday afternoon.  A car was turning left when a pickup truck rear-ended it, sending the vehicle off the road.

A passenger in the car had to be extricated, and was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.  No on else was hurt.


UPDATE (4pm):  The victim has been taken to a local hospital.  The accident has been cleared and the street is open to traffic.


Auburn Street is blocked and one person is being extricated from a car after it was rear-ended at high speed by a pickup truck.

The crash happened at around 3pm Tuesday at the intersection of Auburn and Pierpont.

Damage at the scene indicates that a pickup truck may have rear-ended a car, causing significant damage and sending it off the roadway.
