WINNEBAGO — A serious crash has occurred at the Winnebago Corners intersection where U.S. Bypass 20 goes past the town of Winnebago.
Initial reports indicate that the semi was headed east on U.S. 20 and the car pulled out into its path, getting hit on the driver’s side, and that extrication from the car is involved. Our crew at the scene says there appears to be two victims in the car.
Traffic is being diverted around the crash scene, but drivers should avoid the area if possible.
We have a crew at the scene and will have more details as they become available.
