Wisconsin suspends Tuesday’s presidential primary

MADISON, Wis. (WTVO) – Governor Tony Evers issued an executive order to delay Tuesday’s presidential primary election.

Under the order, the election would be pushed to June. Originally, Evers opposed moving the election. He also previously said he didn’t have the legal authority.

The executive order will likely face an immediate challenge from the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
