Woman Accused of Using Stun Gun During Home Invasion

A Rockford woman is accused of invading a home and attacking a woman inside with a stun gun.

Police say it happened after 10pm on Wednesday at a home in the 1500 block of 12th St.

Police arrived to find 49-year-old Candy Patterson arguing with several other woman outside the home.  They say it all started when she kicked in the door and attacked a woman, pulling out a stun gun and using it on the victim during the fight.

She faces charges of Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Home Invasion.
