Woman and Children Victims of Rockford Home Invasion

A Rockford family is okay after being robbed at gunpoint in their own home.

This happened right around 9 pm Friday night in the 500 block of Hilton Avenue.

The victim says she was at home with her two children when four masked suspects entered the residence.

The suspects displayed handguns and demanded cash.

Officials say they made off with cell phones and a laptop, before fleeing in an unknown direction.

The suspects are described as black males around 19 or 20 years old.

No one was injured during the incident, it’s the fourth home invasion in Rockford in three days.

Two of those involved armed men threatening residents inside a home.

The third involved a woman who wandered into an apartment on East State Street and then battered the resident inside.

No arrests have been made.

Anyone with information on any of these home invasions is asked to call police or crimestoppers.
