Woman Arrested for Firing Shotgun During Domestic Dispute

A woman is arrested in rural Ogle County after firing a shotgun during a domestic dispute.

Jacqueline D’Onofrio, 53, of Esmond, is charged with domestic battery and reckless discharge of a firearm.

Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies received a call about a dispute shortly after midnight. Police say D’Onofrio discharged a 12-gauge shotgun in a home southeast of Monroe Center during the dispute.

No one was injured in the incident.
