A stabbing victim, and another pepper spray victim, give Rockford police conflicting stories about what happened Wednesday night on Hess Court.
Police say they were called to 1005 Hess Court on a disorderly conduct call around 11:40 p.m. There, they met with a female victim who had been pepper sprayed.
While police were at the scene, another woman walked in to a local hospital suffering from a stab wound. She told police she was stabbed at the Hess Court address. Police say she was in possession of an empty bottle of OxyContin.
Police say both women gave conflicting reports of what happened. Officers continue to investigate.
