A Rockford KFC employee’s quick response sends two would-be armed robbers running the other way.
Police responded to the KFC on Kilburn and Auburn around 6:45 Tuesday night.
Police say when the two suspects came inside and made demands, an employee ran out the backdoor which set off an alarm. That scared off the men.
Police posted the following suspect descriptions:
Suspect #1: Black male, 20’s 5’6″, armed with handgun.
Suspect #2: Black male, 20’s 5’11”,armed with handgun.
Anyone with information should call police.
