The Bears’ have waited a long time to see what Kevin White can do. They’re beginning to find out.
White is going full-speed on the practice field this week during the Bears’ OTA workouts. He’s making sharp cuts, and catching everything thrown his way.
He’s showing no hint of being tentative after missing all of last season after having surgery on a shin.
“Everything is full go, so I try to put as much energy as I can. Run as fast as I can,” said White after Wednesday’s practice. “It’s a lot easier now. Last year everything seemed so fast. It was really hard trying to learn the concepts.”
White suffered his shin injury during the final OTA workout last year. He was the Bears first round draft pick in 2015 out of West Virginia.
