Auburn’s Syreal Holland leads local State Track & Field qualifiers

Auburn senior Syreal Holland doubled up as the NIC-10’s fastest sprinter at the NIC-10 Track & Field Meet a week ago. He followed that up with a repeat performance Friday night at the 3A Sectional at Guilford’s Swanson Stadium.

Holland won the 100 meter dash in a time of 11.08. He won the 200 meter dash with a time of 21.92. The two victories qualify him for the 3A State Track & Field Meet next weekend in Charleston, Illinois.
