The only goal of hte game was scored in the final two minutes. Leah Haney’s corner kick led to Leah Starnes booting in the game-winning goal.

“I was thinking, ‘It’s now or never,” said Starnes. “I told Brooke right before, I was like, ‘This is the goal. This is it.’ We always shout ‘2:12’ and I looked at the clock and it was like 2:10 and I was like ‘This is the goal.”

“Starnes has been a rock in the back,” said Boylan head coach Taylor Meyers. “She has saved a ton of goals for us. For her to finally, in this big of a game get that moment to put a goal away for us, it’s powerful.”
