Rockford East’s Burnell named NIC-10 MVP

Rockford East senior guard Chris Burnell has been named the NIC-10’s MVP for this season by the conference’s coaches.

Burnell guided the E-Rabs to the NIC-10 championship and a fourth place finish in the state in Class 4A. He also set East’s career scoring record.

He’s joined on the first team by two of his teammates Sincere Parker and Sha’den Clanton.
